Amor Fati fait ses débuts sur Promesses avec “stoopide”: un album de 16 titres allant de la trap à l'EDM en passant par l'emo-rap. Le projet est en réalité un album avec l'âme d'une mixtape, marqué par le foisonnement d'idées et la liberté de forme(s) inhérente au format. “stoopide” est né en 2022 avec l'envie, après un détour par la musique folk, de revenir aux sources et de rendre hommage au genre musical qui a d'abord inspiré Amor Fati: le rap SoundCloud. Le projet est une ode à la naïveté et à la spontanéité, matérialisée par des productions brutes et agressives, toutes composées par l'artiste français. Les paroles alternent entre des vagues d'énergie frénétique, une euphorie carnavalesque et des moments d'introspection sombre et d'humeur autodestructrice, le tout imprégné de l'humour noir et de l'autodérision typiques de l'attitude post-moderniste représentative de la culture SoundCloud. Le titre “fourmiz” est en featuring avec Lavender et le titre “spring break” avec l'artiste bruxelloise lazza gio.

Amor Fati makes his debut on Promesses with “stoopide”: a 16 track album ranging from trap to EDM to emo-rap. The project is really an album with the soul of a mixtape, marked by its abundance of ideas and the freedom of form(s) inherent to the format. “stoopide” was born in 2022 with the desire, after a detour through folk music, to return to the roots and pay tribute to the musical genre that first inspired Amor Fati: SoundCloud rap. The project is an ode to naïveté and spontaneity, materialized by raw, aggressive productions, all composed by the French artist. The lyrics are alternating between waves of frenetic energy, carnivalesque euphoria and moments of dark introspection and self-destructive moodiness, all imbued with the dark humor and self-deprecation typical of the post-modernist attitude representative of the SoundCloud culture. “fourmiz” featured vocals from French singer Lavender and “spring break” from Brussels-based artist lazza gio.
